simple + thoughtful gift ideas

‘Tis the season for gift-giving! Here are some simple gift ideas for your loved ones, friends, and coworkers. These items can be perfect on their own or bundled with another gift. Enjoy!

Candles

  • Candles are a classic! Especially in the winter season, you can be assured that the beautiful candle you give will be used.

  • Natural soy wax is important, and I love these handmade ones from Bilden Farmacy.

  • Looking for a new project? Try making a batch of homemade candles! This is something I have been excited to try soon!

Books

  • I love giving books to loved ones that have had an impact on me. Here are some of my favorites:

  • The Four Agreements, Atomic Habits, and The Untethered Soul

  • Also excited to read and gift this new book of poems by Emory Hall, Made of Rivers

Journals

  • Journals are special and can hold space for so much magic! I enjoy Moleskine

  • Personalized journals and notepads are fun to gift as well.

  • Don’t forget the pens! Adding a fancy pen or pens to go with the journal is extra sweet :)

Spiritual Tools

  • Crystals! These are some of my favorite things to give to loved ones because I enjoy spending time learning about new crystals and choosing one that I feel resonates with the person.

  • Sage is also always a wonderful gift and sometimes you can find them bundled with sweet lavender leaves

  • Essential Oils can be found almost everywhere these days. Right now I love Uma

Food / Baked Goods

  • Need I say more? A homemade cookie can go such a long way! I enjoy making these pretzel M&M treats because they are easy and festive.

  • Homemade granola is always a win as well. Check out my favorite recipe here.

  • Honey! Talk about a sweet gift :) Local honey is a lovely gift especially paired with some nice tea.

Plants

  • I love potting my own plants in cute containers! You can find plants anywhere but I love Monstera and Peace Lily’s!

  • Don’t forget your plant food! Flourish is a great gift on its own or paired with a new plant friend.

  • Photos and prints of plants and herbs can create a sense of peace and grounding in any space! Love this kitchen medicine poster.

Happy giving!

With love,

Caroline
