spring cleaning!
Have you ever noticed how the word “inspiring” looks a lot like “in Spring”? I love these first couple weeks of Spring because of the inspiration that naturally comes through to clear and cleanse, to look out for beauty, to feel grateful for the simple things, and to be open to new ideas!
Let’s take advantage of this momentum and inspiration and set aside some time to:
Clear and clean physical, mental & emotional space
Move mindfully (preferably outdoors), breathe, and allow natural inspiration to enter our energy fields
Plant new, sustainable, and attainable intentions for self-care
Here are some tangible action steps and ideas to support your transition to Spring!
Clean duvet covers, fluff pillows, organize that one drawer you’ve been wanting to get to
Purge old clothes, clean winter sweaters, hats, gloves, and boots and put them away
Go through your phone and delete messages, photos notes that you no longer need
Clean up your desktop and folders on your computer
Organize your journals and create a happy physical space or nook dedicated to mindfulness and/or mediation
Jot down any new ideas or affirmations or new beliefs about self in your journal that come through during this time
Take pictures of flowers, colors, and designs you find on your nature walks
Refine your reflections from Winter and set a new personal wellness goal
Introduce Spring vegetables into your diet (ex: asparagus, peas, carrots, radishes)
Open your heart and see all your current blessings
Share your gratitude with your loved ones
